ClearWater Conservancy is a land trust dedicated to promoting conservation and restoration of natural resources in central Pennsylvania through land conservation, water resources protection, and environmental outreach to the community.
Since our founding in 1980, ClearWater Conservancy has become a leader in conservation in Centre and surrounding counties. Our supporters and partners have been an important part of our incredible success over the years. They inform, shape and participate in our projects and initiatives every day.
To date we have protected 6,215 acres of natural lands through conservation easements and conservation partnerships, planted over 82,434 linear feet of riparian buffers, removed 6.09 million pounds of trash from roadsides, stream banks, sinkholes and illegal dumpsites, and sent 22,000 students on field trips to Millbrook Marsh Nature Center.
ClearWater Conservancy protects the places that matter most in central Pennsylvania and connects people to these special places. We conserve so that future generations may also enjoy the blessings of our rich natural heritage.
Please join us in our efforts!
