For the Love of Art and Chocolate

"What a beautiful event"...  "So much chocolate; I couldn't sample it all"...  I can't believe how many wonderful pieces of art are here"...  "I'm definitely coming again next year, and bringing friends, too!"  These were just a few of the comments we heard from satisfied guests and ClearWater supporters.  "Art, chocolate, jazz, and conservation... there's no better combination!"

Save the Date for the 2009 For the Love of Art & Chocolate

Friday, January 23, 2009

6:30 - 10 pm at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel

Come join ClearWater for an evening of music, dancing, art, and best of all... all the chocolate you care to eat! For a ticket price of just $25 if purchased in advance ($30 at the door), you'll get an impressive assortment of chocolate delicacies, the opportunity to view and bid on a variety of art works inspired by nature, and the chance to win some fabulous door prizes.  There will also be a live jazz band, Jazza-Ma-Phone.  All proceeds benefit ClearWater Conservancy.

To purchase tickets in advance call ClearWater Conservancy at (814) 237-0400.

When visiting "First Night State College" at the end of December, be sure to preview the beautiful art donated by talented local artists!  Check out our collection from December 28 through January 2 at the following Allen Street merchant windows:  Appalachian Ski & Outdoors, Tadpole Crossing, Rapid Transit, Happy Valley Optical, Woodring's Florals, and The Penn State Downtown Theatre.

The 2008 For the Love of Art and Chocolate event was an amazing success!  The evening raised over $18,000 to support ClearWater's natural resource conservation in the heart of Pennsylvania.
