Spring Creek Day Family Festival 2009 Sunday, October 4, 2009 Millbrook Marsh Nature Center Noon - 5 pm If your organization is interested in having an informational and/or educational exhibit at the 2009 festival, please fill out and send back the Exhibitor Registration Form. New this year... "The Outdoor Gear Recycling Sale"! Do you have gently-used sports equipment taking up space around the house that you just don't use anymore? Have the kids grown out of stuff that still has some good wear in it?Want to try a new sport without making a huge investment in the equipment? Bring your gently used sports equipment to Millbrook Marsh Nature Center from 9 am - noon on Sunday, October 4. Please price it before you bring it, and then donate it to the Sale. The money from the event this year will be to purchase event tents and a portable speaker system for ClearWater Conservancy. Of course, if anyone has any 10x10 or 10x20 tents that they don't use any more and want to donate, that is cool too! We hope the sale will be the beginning of something our community will look forward to attending each year to try out some new outdoor pursuits and get some “good deals”! Spring Creek Day Family Festival 2008 The 26th Annual Spring Creek Day was held on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center. Download the event program here. Although we started off the day with a wet morning, our spirits lifted and families ventured out as the sun made an appearance through most of the afternoon! Altogether nearly 500 people came out to celebrate nature, enjoy each other's company, and learn a little more about the environment. Many thanks to Ray Gephart's video production class at Bellefonte High School for this great video from Spring Creek Day 2008!
