Location: Alpha Fire Company, 2598 Green Tech Drive, State College, PA 16803 and ClearWater Conservancy, 2555 N. Atherton St., State College, PA 16803
This workshop will explain the importance of using rain barrels for stormwater control, give instructions for installing rain barrels and provide all the materials, instructions and assistance in building a rain barrel to take home. Participants will take home a finished 55-gallon rain barrel. All materials are provided. Registration fee covers one household, up to five people.
After you construct your rain barrel, participants can take a tour of ClearWater Conservancy's rain garden from 12:15 - 1:00 p.m. The tour is in the same location as the workshop (we share a parking lot with Alpha), and there is no additional cost to attend. Please specify on your registration if you plan to take the rain garden tour.

Ticket is for one rain barrel (one per household) and includes a tour of the ClearWater Conservancy Native Garden (on site). Families may attend as a group and complete the barrel construction together.
